What advice would you give to new Marine Corps families?
Welcoming the Sullivans to Team Charlotte and the Officer Selection Team until heading to The Basic School in May! Alex and Jessica come to us as recent graduates from Clemson University, new to Charlotte and bringing their dog family with them.

Please offer some well deserved congratulations to two of your newest Marine Officers: Second Lieutenants Dominee Curry and David Elkins! Both are heading to The Basic School together with our old teammates Lt Harris & Lt Askew.
Have any advice for our new Leaders of Marines?

INCOMING: on Instagram posted that we might want to keep our phones close today, possibly as early as 1030 EST, for a chance to talk to the Officer Candidates of OCC-236!
The IG page is run by Col Rush, the Commanding Officer of OCS and we couldn’t recommend it enough if you want the most up to date information.

Can you spot Candidate Alyson Holland? We think we can! Looking calm and collected. She’s ready for this.

Got one! Better, two!
The camera loves Team Charlotte’s own Christian Yarborough over at OCS- they snagged photos of him at gear issue and during the induction PFT (making it look easy).
Christian is a WCU graduate and former member of the WCU Catamount football team, representing up in Virginia! After earning his commission, he hopes to continue on and become a Finance Officer.

Friends and Family of OCC-236: we have their platoon assignments! Please give Capt K a call at 704-361-1456 and he can pass them on to you.

Trick or Treat!
Wishing everyone a safe, fun Halloween this evening- however you plan to spend it!
If you can, spend it with night vision.

OC Nielsen sighting! Team Charlotte's Andrew Nielsen of Delta-4 is in the far right of the photo (and a little blurry), conducting the Muscle Endurance Course (MEC) with his squad at OCS.
The MEC is generally reported to be one of the most rigorous PT sessions, as the squad will be covering several miles of stations designed to test the- you guessed it- muscular endurance of aspiring officers. OCS is simple: when you want to quit- don't!
Keep up the charge, Nielsen!

Welcome Home and job well done to one of Team Charlotte's own- Captain Morales! Capt Morales applied through Charlotte to pursue a career as a Marine Judge Advocate, and recently returned from a Marine Expeditionary Unit deployment around the Pacific.

Friends & Family of OCC-235! We have final rosters for your candidates, so please don't hesitate to reach out in the comments below and we will DM you for your candidate's Company and Platoon assignment!
Please note that ONLY USPS mail will reach them, as FEDEX does not ship directly to Brown Field aboard Quantico.
No photos yet- we will post our teammates as we find them, and we encourage you to do the same on the page!
