Congratulations Ms. Braswell!!
Every Teacher of the Month at Nathaniel Alexander Elementary School gets a "Mac Over", where we freshen up their vehicle while they borrow one of our loaners! Today, we proudly returned Mrs. Braswell's Toyota 4Runner to her, and she couldn't be happier!
Thank you to every educator and support staff member for all that you do in our community!

The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Board of Education voted at its Jan. 10 Board meeting to change the make-up day for the Jan. 10 snow day. It will move to Jan. 24 from Feb. 20.
The change will give teachers an additional day to work with students in preparation for End-of-Course tests which will now begin on Jan. 18. It preserves the option to use Feb. 20 as a make-up day if needed in the future. It also reduces the risk of having to use the Memorial Day holiday May 29 as a future make-up day.
As a result, the make-up days for the two severe weather days this week will now be Tuesday, Jan. 24 and Friday, Feb. 17. The revised CMS 2016-2017 School Calendar can be found here: bit.ly/CMScal1617
