🚲 In honor of World Bicycle Day, our staff came together for a fun team-building challenge!

The mission? Recreate a bicycle from memory. One teammate could look at the reference image, then return to the group and describe what they saw. The rest of the team had to bring it to life on the whiteboard.

Let's just say our final masterpiece looked a little different than the original. πŸ˜„

Along the way, we practiced communication, teamwork, trust, and problem-solving while sharing plenty of laughs.

Because strong teams build stronger communities. πŸ’™

The Power of Volunteering is more than a headline. It's what happens when people come together to strengthen their communities. This past year, 905 volunteers gave 2,021 hours of service to support local families, strengthen neighborhoods, and create opportunities across our region.

Every hour volunteered represents someone choosing to make a difference. Every project helps build a stronger, more connected community. Thank you to every volunteer who has invested their time, talents, and heart into this work. Your impact is felt far beyond the hours you serve.

Breaking the silence around mental health starts with community. πŸ’™

For one local business owner in Cabarrus County, supporting mental wellness is deeply personal. After experiencing the impact of a mental health crisis within his own family, he chose to turn grief into action by supporting efforts that connect individuals and families with help before they reach a crisis point.

Through support of United Way of Greater Charlotte and the Cabarrus County Mental Health Collaborative, community partners are helping reduce stigma, increase access to mental health resources, and equip people to recognize and respond to mental health challenges.

Because of partnerships like this, more conversations are happening earlier, more families are finding support, and communities across Cabarrus County are working together to build a healthier future.

No family should face these challenges alone.
