Retirees meet 2nd and 4th Thursday's at 9 am in Charlotte and 10 am 2nd Wednesdays in Stanly County.

Welcome to the North Carolina Air National Guard's official page on Facebook, a place to connect with old friends and share your memories during your time with the NCANG. We will load photos and videos for you to see and if you have memories about them, feel free to add your comments. After a while, we will download the photo with comments and preserve it in our archives so future generations can read about your memories!

Like any organization celebrating another birthday, we’ve grown and changed over the years. From P-47 Thunderbolts in 1948 to today’s C-17 Globemasters, the North Carolina Air National Guard remains committed to strength, resilience, and service to our nation.

Today, we give thanks to those who serve and support the 145th Airlift Wing, in and out of uniform.

Hi all,
We’re at Stanly County going through 263rd CBCS photos. We know who the male in the back is, but cannot remember a name for our female member. Can you help? Do you know who she is and send us her name?

This brings up a request. We can always use help in identifying people to save our history, so any unit member can join the fun once a month as a volunteer.

If you look at our posts from Stanly County, you’ll notice we struggle with names of our female members. We could really use help from our female members. Would you be willing and able to join us at Stanly County to save our history of all our members?

Good Evening,

Time is here. Thank you if you’ve already RSVP’d, if you haven’t and can still make it, we’ll take care of it at the event. It looks like the weather will be perfect, maybe a little chilly

early, a light jacket might be in order, but with the crowd it’ll be great. Look me up if you’ve had a home address or email change. Please let me know if there is anything else I can do to help.

If anyone has any questions, please reach out!

Respectfully,

CMSgt Irene Smith
