Charlotte Fire Station 17- The Sock

Ground breaking on CFD Station 47!

Today Ladder 17 was dispatched to a structure fire off of Leatherleaf Ln. CFD personnel found an electrical fire above the garage door with extension to the second floor. CFD units on-scene quickly extinguished the fire.

CFD Ladder 17 responded to a reported house fire off of Dixie River Rd. Upon CFD Engine 44’s arrival they found a fully involved out building on fire with extension to the residence. CFD’s response included Battalion 8 with mutual aid from Steele Creek FD and West Meck FD. The fire was controlled quickly with units on-scene and no known injuries.
