Paralympic Sport Club Metrolina hosted a Goalball Clinic on Feb 24th! The kids and teens did AMAZING and were so impressive to watch! Be on the look out for a 6-8 week goalball season coming soon.

Our next round of Paralympic Boccia starts March 12, and runs until April 30th. Cost is $40. We've been working hard on our accuracy during Jan and Feb. We look forward to seeing some new faces on the court! To register, or for more information, contact Stacey at 980-314-1302 or [email protected]

Paralympic Sport Club Metrolina will be hosting a Goalball clinic on Saturday Feb 24th at Marion Diehl Rec Center. This clinic is free, but pre-registration is required. Our new session of Boccia will start up on January 8th, at 5:30pm! In Nov and Dec we really focused on accuracy and defense strategies, and have much more to learn and teach in Jan and Feb! The Archery program is a bullseye!

Melissa has put together two FREE adapted kayaking clinics for aged 13+ with a physical disability! All equipment is provided, you just have to get yourself to McDowell Nature Preserve! It's FREE, but you still need to register. Contact Melissa at 980-314-1304 or [email protected] to register

Paralympic Sport Metrolina is excited to offer a NEW Paralympic Sport Specialty Camp! Be a part of this new and highly active sport camp where athletes will learn and enhance sport skills, swim weekly and go on a field trip weekly. Space is limited.

Weekly focus:
Week 1: July 6 – July 10 - Sport- Tennis
Week 2: July 27 – July 31 - Sport- Visually Impaired sports (tandem, archery, goalball)
Week 3: August 3 – August 7 - Sport- Archery and shooting sports
Week 4: August 10 – August 14 - Sport- Paddlesports and swimming

Who: Age 8 to 21 (still in high school) with a physical disability or visual impairment.
Please note- Participants will be involved in a highly active sports camp and will be outside or in un air conditioned spaces for the majority of the camp day. Participants must be able to follow directions, take part in group activities, and be willing to learn new sports skills.

Time: 7:30am – 5:30pm
Fee: $125.00/week
