We are looking for a few great firemen to be a part of our team. Lazy, non aggressive, stagnant firemen need not apply.
- 4 man engine
- day and night shifts available
- leadership that lets firemen be firemen
- station renovations underway
- top response area in Mecklenburg county for fires and pin ins
* Vehicle Fire: This morning at 00:12 Long Creek E4 and Huntersville were dispatched to an MVA on 77N. The call was quickly upgraded to a vehicle fire. LC E4 arrived to one vehicle with fire showing; making the stretch. Companies worked for 30 minutes before returning to service.

*Structure Fire: Last night at 22:30 Long Creek E4 was dispatched to Sunset rd to assist the City with a reported structure fire. B6 arrived with an outbuilding on fire - assuming command. E4 arrived second due, performing a split lay and assisting with suppression. Companies worked for an hour and a half before returning to service.

*Structure Fire: At 16:05 Long Creek E4 was dispatched to the 11000 block of Kennewick Rd for a structure fire (Cooks first due). LC E4 arrived second due, assigned suppression - with a line to the attic. Once the fire was extinguished, E4 performed top side ventilation on an outbuilding and conducted a secondary search on the primary structure. Companies worked for two hours before clearing the scene.

*Structure Fire - Last night at 23:27 Long Creek and Cooks were dispatched to a 911 hang up-structure fire in the 3200 block of Mt Holly Huntersville rd. Cooks E1 arrived with fire showing from a single story structure. The City dispatched a box due to a caller from the apartments reporting a fire through the woods in the County. Long Creek E4 arrived as the 4th due engine and assigned suppression, taking a line to the attic. Companies worked for 2 hours before returning to service.

BIG shout out to The Hunting Wives for dinner tonight! While filming nearby, they dropped off dinner for the crew. Hopefully next time they are in the area Sophie O’Neil will stop by for a visit!

*Brush fire near a structure: At 15:12 companies were initially dispatched to a structure fire on Grass Meadows Ct; the call was downgraded shortly after checking in route. Crews worked for 30 minutes before clearing the scene.

*MVA: At 07:15 Long Creek and Cooks were dispatched to 485 inner at Oakdale for a multi car MVA with one vehicle on fire. E10 arrived to a two car MVA with heavy damage and no fire. Companies worked for thirty minutes before clearing the scene. This was a fatality wreck, and the ramp to Oakdale will be closed for an extended period of time.
