Our participants enjoyed a wonderful outing to the Boardwalk in Charlotte’s University area! From taking in the scenery to spending quality time with friends, it was a great opportunity to get outside, explore, and enjoy our community. 🌿✨

🎳💙 Striking Up Fun at Nevins! 💙🎳

Our participants had a wonderful time hitting the bowling lanes for a fun-filled community outing! From cheering each other on to sharing laughs and celebrating every strike and spare, it was a day full of smiles and great memories. ✨

Outings like these create opportunities to build friendships, strengthen connections, and enjoy new experiences together. We’re always grateful for the chance to get out into our Charlotte community and have some fun!

Our participants had a creative way to celebrate the Labor Day holiday! With the Charlotte Mecklenburg Aktion Club, participants worked on creating their own vision boards—bringing together ideas, goals, interests, and things that inspire them. 💙

We love activities that give our participants the opportunity to express themselves, get creative, and think about what they want for the future. ✂️🎨✨

On August 7, our participants enjoyed a community outing to the 23XI Racing Museum! They explored different exhibits, got an up-close look at race cars, and learned more about how drivers and racing teams prepare and maintain each car for safe travel on race day.

Beyond the excitement of racing, outings like this provide opportunities for our participants to explore new environments, build sensory resilience, foster social inclusion, and strengthen their connection with the Charlotte community. 💙
