We're looking for a dedicated advocate to serve our veterans, dependents, and survivors! As a full-time VSO, you'll help navigate benefits, prepare and submit claims, assist with appeals, and connect veterans with the federal, state, and local resources they've earned.

This role calls for someone with sound judgment, strong communication skills, and a heart for serving those who served us.

We are proud to announce and congratulate Julie Crotts and Magaly Rivera on achieving National Accreditation as Veteran Service Officers. This accomplishment reflects their dedication, professionalism and unwavering commitment to our nation’s veterans and their families.

Join Cleveland County Veterans Services for our monthly workshop series, Veterans Benefits 101, designed to help veterans and their families understand and access the benefits they’ve earned through military service.

Participants will receive an overview of a wide range of federal, state, and local veteran benefits, including:

• Applying for VA disability compensation
• Enrolling in VA health care
• Survivor and dependent benefits
• VA burial and memorial benefits
• Additional state and local benefits such as property tax reductions, lifetime hunting and fishing licenses, and specialized vehicle tags (eligibility requirements apply)

This workshop is ideal for veterans who have never applied for VA benefits, as well as those who are currently receiving VA benefits but may be eligible for additional programs and resources.
