Things got a little squishy in Marine Biology today!

Mrs. Shaw's Marine Biology class got some hands on experience dissecting squid and taking a closer look at their anatomy. They got up close and personal with ink sacs and tentacles, getting a firsthand look at the things they've been learning about in class!

This is just another great example of hands on learning and the amazing way it transforms the experience for students!

Recently, Mrs. Dickmander's 5th graders rolled up their sleeves and got a little messy while learning about geography!

Students created their own salt dough maps, highlighting major rivers, mountain ranges, and the Great Lakes. They also labeled state capitals and major cities along the way!

Who says geography has to be learned from a textbook? We love seeing our Royals get creative and have a little fun while learning!

A few weeks ago, our first graders had the honor of attending the wedding of Q and U! After all, Q and U just belong together!

The students witnessed the sweet ceremony and then celebrated the happy couple with cupcakes and dancing at the reception!

Who knew learning about letters could be so much fun?! What a fun way to help our little Royals remember that Q and U make quite the pair!

Join us Thursday, October 29th from 6-8pm at Eastern Hancock High School for a night of spooky good fun!

We've got lots of fun planned, including trick-or-treating through the haunted halls of EHHS, haunted athletic office, haunted bus garage, a chance to smash a pie in Terry Stephens face, and plenty of spooky surprises along the way!

No need to fix dinner, come early and eat at the food trucks! Food and drinks will be available for purchase from: All American Grub, Underdogs Hotdogs LLC, So Cheesy and Ohana Mobile Soda Bar. Food Trucks will be set up by 5pm.

Admission is one non-perishable food item per child. Free-will donations are also accepted.

So grab your costumes, bring your candy buckets and come enjoy a fun evening with us!

A big shout out to our Eastern Hancock National Honor Society for hosting this event!

The Royals finished the regular season with a perfect record for the first time since 2015 after also clinching the Eastern Crossroads Conference championship.

🎃 Calling All Local Businesses & Candy Donors! 🍬

We're a little over a week away from a fun night of trick-or-treating and we need YOUR help! We're hosting our annual Royal Boo Bash on October 29, 2026 from 6-8pm and we'd love to make this year's event bigger and better than ever!

Here's where we need your help:

🍬 Candy Donations: We're looking for donations of individually wrapped candy to help keep all those little ghosts and goblins smiling! Donations can be dropped off at Central Office anytime between now and the morning of October 29th from 8am-5pm.

👻 Local Businesses: We'd love to have you join us! Set up a spot inside the school, pass out candy, and enjoy a fun evening with our students, families, and community. Each year we welcome 500+ visitors through our doors so it's a great opportunity to get your business involved while having a little Halloween fun!
