A big thank you to Mayer Lutheran High School for inviting us to attend this year’s career fair. Our Deputies that attended are also alumni of the school and had a great time interacting with the students that stopped by our table.

Yesterday the jail had six inmates graduate from Aramark’s IN2WORK kitchen workforce initiative program. They all become SAFE SERV certified. In addition they are eligible for $10,000 scholarships through Aramark for themselves once they are out of jail.

It’s nice Aramark offers this program!! Congratulations to these inmates

We just had a scam attempt occur with a citizen. The person posed as a probation agent saying they talked with the victims son and said they needed $700 for electronic home monitoring fees so the inmate could get out of jail.

County employees will never make these calls or take money over the phone.

The scammers find public data online through jail rosters and use that as intelligence when making these calls

Any bail or fees for courts will be taken at the Justice Center in person and a receipt will be given.

If you receive a call like this hang up.
