Whoa! The stuffies are getting a little wild! We think they might have had a bit too much cake. 😂 They decided to have a dance party, dress up the kids’ statue, climb in our book drop, and even have some cart races. And then we caught them making copies on the copier!

🧸 Stuffed Animal Sleepover!

Your stuffed animals are having a great time so far! They’ve been busy reading, watching a movie, picking out books, coloring, and working on puzzles. And we even threw a party for Winnie-the-Pooh! 🎂

Did you know Winnie-the-Pooh’s book was first published on October 14, 1926? That’s 100 years ago!

🧸 It’s Almost Time for Our Stuffed Animal Sleepover!

This Friday, October 23, your stuffed animals are invited to spend the night at the library! They’ll explore, make new friends, and get up to all sorts of sleepover shenanigans. 👀

Drop off your stuffed friend on Friday and pick them up on Saturday, October 24 to hear all about their adventures!

Be sure to follow our page throughout the night for photos of what those silly stuffies are up to while the library is closed. We can’t wait! ❤️

Did you you know Libby lets you filter out AI generated content from your searches?

Just go to Menu, > Content Controls, and choose AI Contributions. Then, choose choose "Human only" for Text, Audio, Graphics and/or Translation.

By default, this preference only hides titles when using deep search (i.e., when you're looking at titles your current library doesn't own). If you want to hide AI narrators from all library lists and searches, turn off the Deep search only toggle under "Where to apply filters."

The Village of Chatham is turning 190 years old!

Join us Thursday, October 22nd between 4:00-6:00pm for a special open house reception where you can explore the timeline and enjoy a curated display of items from our local history archive.

We’ll also welcome Dave Kimsey, Village of Chatham President, to share a few words about why preserving Chatham’s stories matters now more than ever. And of course, we’ll have treats to share while you browse, reminisce, and celebrate the history that makes our village unique.
