Today, we honor a dedicated Life Member of the Chatham Rescue Squad who proudly served his community.

Throughout Royโ€™s years of service, he held the positions of Captain, First Lieutenant, and Vehicle Lieutenant, remaining an active member through 1999. He was always proud of the service he provided and the people he served alongside.

Royโ€™s dedication, leadership, and commitment to helping others will never be forgotten. His service was a part of who he was, and his legacy will remain a part of the Chatham Rescue Squad family.

Roy, you answered the call when others needed you and now, itโ€™s our turn to carry on your legacy. You served your community well, and you earned your rest. Thank you for your service ๐Ÿ–ค

Thank you to Chatham High School for inviting us to their 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony today. ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

On this 25th anniversary, it was especially meaningful to come together as a community to remember and honor the lives lost on September 11, 2001, the heroes who answered the call, and the families and communities whose lives were changed forever.

It was a beautiful and moving ceremony filled with reflection, remembrance, and gratitude. Twenty-five years later, we continue to carry their stories with us and honor their memory by coming together, supporting one another, and never forgetting.

Forever in our hearts. Forever remembered. โค๏ธ๐Ÿค๐Ÿ’™
