12 years ago, Mrs. McNiff unknowingly buried irises under a brick patio. A few years later, some started to peep out around the edges. They never bloomed. Last year, she dug them up and donated them to CCHS Garden Club to help them fill in a bed. Today, after 12 years of never blooming, they bloomed!! Yea CCHS! Your magic works once again!

First ever Garden Club Vegan Lunch. Hot minestrone soup, kale apple walnut salad with mache, and roasted red pepper Christmas Limas. Yum, especially on a chilly Chatsworth day.

Fall preparations are underway. The 3rd garden bed is up and running thanks to all the hard work of the students. The baby seedlings are well taken care of and soon will go into the ground.

Eating Pico de gallo from our own tomatoes! Also planted the first of the fall seeds. Keeping the dream alive.
