What better way to bring classroom learning to life than a tour of our water treatment plant?
On Monday, we welcomed the first of three groups visiting us this week from the UTC College of Engineering and Computer Science. Led by our Treatment Plant Operator, Seth Patton, Civil and Chemical Engineering students learned how water is treated and delivered to our community and the important role engineering plays in providing safe, reliable drinking water.
We enjoy sharing what we do with students and giving them a chance to connect what they're learning in the classroom with careers in the water industry. It was great meeting Monday's group, and we look forward to welcoming our second group today.
