Enjoy a free concert, and support the work of the Food Bank!

Happy Halloween Concert! Featuring the Symphonic Band and Concert Choir
October 29, 7 pm HUM Auditorium
Wear your costumes and be ready to enjoy some spooky sights, sounds, and photo booth. The concert is free and open to the public, but please bring a canned good or other non-perishable item to help support the Chattanooga Area Food Bank. Monetary donations are also accepted via a QR code available in the HUM lobby.

THE GREAT PANTRY MAKEOVER! ✨ We are so grateful to Food Lion for selecting our partners at Faith Memorial Church in Bradley County, TN for the Great Pantry Makeover!

The M.E. Littlefield Food Pantry at Faith Memorial Church got a massive makeover including fresh paint and shelving for their main storage area, a new walkway/ramp for their facility to be more welcoming, and more. Local Food Lion associates worked alongside pantry staff and volunteers during the makeover, contributing time and hands-on support to help bring the pantry's vision for the space to life.

Food Lion Feeds also supplied the pantry with 6,235 pounds of food including 3,705 pounds of fresh produce (apples, potatoes, lettuce, onions, carrots, oranges, and bell peppers) to help keep shelves stocked for local neighbors.

Mike McCormick, pantry manager shared, “The $6000 grant and over 6000 pounds of produce and canned goods from Food Lion was incredible! And the pantry renovation looks great. It helps to effectively get food to people more efficiently since there has been a significant increase in the number of people we are seeing at the M.E. Littlefield Food Pantry at Faith Memorial Church. Thank you, Food Lion associates, for providing so much to so many!”

We’re thankful for the continued support of Publix Charities. They generously donated $125,000 for our mobile food pantries and $200,000 for our Phase 1 office renovation which adds bathrooms (if you've been here you know we need them!), offices, and a volunteer breakroom. With their support, we are able to work towards our 2030 Vision to strengthen food systems, shorten the line, provide food is medicine support, and grow our capacity.

Hey Polk County! We are bringing our Fresh Food, Families & Finance event series to you!

🍎 WHAT: Youth farmers market, financial literacy class and a healthy snack
🏠 WHERE: Location details given upon registration
📆 WHEN: Saturday, October 24th, 12-2pm
🧑‍🧒 WHO: You and your child (must be age 7-17)
🥬 HOW: Your child is included in all the fun and learning! They will receive play "money" to "buy" food from the farmers market. You'll leave with 30+ pounds of food from local farmers and makers like meat, eggs, vegetables, fruit, honey and bread. It's a great bonding experience for you and your child to learn and shop together!

Wow, that's 44,826 meals for our neighbors! What an amazing collective effort!

It was a tight race across the board, with so many of our competitors neck and neck. Fantastic work, everyone. It’s been inspiring to see the dedication, creativity, and enthusiasm each of these companies brought to this year’s competition.
