We appreciate the Dandelion Kind and their compassionate care to the furry family members of CF participants.

Students at UTC who produce the excellent Rising Rock multi-media story series just published their piece on The Dandelion Kind!

It was so cool to work with these incredibly talented students.

As always, thank you CHATT Foundation for the partnership!

The website of stories about Chattanooga is really special, and we are honored to be a part of the story of Chattanooga

Service Days at one of our partner churches, Silverdale Baptist, was great fun this month! We met new ministries, greeted old friends, enjoyed part of the service, and gave lots of hugs. Chatt Foundation appreciated the invitation to share what we do with their congregation.

Happy WORLD FOOD DAY!
2026 Theme: Innovate today. Nourish tomorrow.

Forward-thinking solutions, combined with traditional knowledge and inclusive approaches, can help ensure that everyone has access to sufficient, diverse, safe, and nutritious foods, while safeguarding the planet for future generations.

CHATT Foundation has found innovative ways to empower unhoused individuals with new skills and proper nutrition through its Kitchen Readiness Track. We provide sandwiches throughout the day to anyone who is hungry and may have missed meal time. And we are so appreciative of the donations, partnerships, volunteers and staff who keep the Community Kitchen thriving all day, every day!

WHEN WE WALK BY- BOOK CLUB

The CHATT Foundation invites you to read this book with us as we expand our understanding of homelessness in Chattanooga. We will also join students at UTC's campus on October 29th for a panel discussion. You are welcome to join us!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

WHEN WE WALK BY is a book that examines chronic homelessness in America as a crisis of failing social systems and lost human connection.

• Twin Crises: The authors argue that homelessness stems from broken social services and a societal failure of empathy.
• Relational Poverty: The book explores the emotional and social distance between housed and unhoused people.
• Dispelling Myths: It tackles common misconceptions, such as the ideas that all unhoused people struggle with addiction or refuse to work.
