At this year’s Statewide Women’s Policy Conference, we honored the legacy of Dr. Carol Berz with the reading of "Do It Anyway" by Mother Teresa, a poem that perfectly embodies her fearless leadership, unwavering kindness, and dedication to lifting others up.
This moment was a powerful reminder that the work we do - advocating, empowering, and creating change - isn’t always easy. But we do it anyway. And we do it together.
