Chattanooga friends and anyone who is a tn voter and especially of your kiddos attend public schools in the state or Chattanooga.
This is an issue where our voices are changing the course of this bill to siphon off much needed funds for our public schools - free pre k for all was amazing for example when I lived in ga. Or my husbands ac unit in his room has been out for 9 months and has not had it replace. Big or small this could be impactful.
Chattanooga: 68 counties (60% of tn counties) have signed a formal resolution opposing the policy. Hamilton county has put through wish washy at best billets on the issue. Email your board member and ask them to sign a formal resolution (in this article)! When you vote in school board in next election ask if they formally oppose vouchers. And vote on that issue!

Also vote with this issue in mind. The bill has stalled again because lawmakers know that majority of voters DO NOT support the voucher bill (only 10% of hamilton county students attend private school)! So let them know you don’t support it with your vote.
