A huge congratulations to our intern Mark Passons on graduating with his undergrad degree in Social Work! This past year, Mark poured his heart into our community—interviewing Littles, leading activities with our Beyond School Walls program, tabling at recruitment events, and stepping up whenever we needed him. He was even matched with a Little of his own, JJ!
Mark, thank you for your incredible dedication this year. We are so lucky to have you in our corner, and we can’t wait to see the impact you and JJ make together! 💚🖤

We loved having Makenna Mullis work with this year during her time with the . During her time as our Development Assistant, Makenna helped with our fundraising events, volunteer recruitment efforts, and anything else we threw her way. She also spent a portion of her time this year working with the McBride Method, helping our agency with projects to streamline operations through automations and AI.

Zachary Evans is a recent graduate from Red Bank High School and has been a Little Brother in our Community-based program for over 10 years. Zachary also serves on our Young Leaders Advisory Council. Zachary plans to attend UTC and study Creative Writing and minor in Computer Science. His favorite memory from BBBS is last year’s winter party.

Ashton Biggs is a recent graduate from CSAS and has served as a High School Big for over 2 years with his Little Brother August. Ashton also serves on our Young Leaders Advisory Council. Ashton plans to attend Emory University and study Business Marketing with a minor in filmmaking.
“My favorite memory from BBBS was during the Christmas ice skating party with my Little, August. We made Christmas ornaments together, and he ended up making one way better than mine and gave it to me as a gift to put on my tree. I also loved being part of the Youth Advisory Council. I enjoyed all the meetings and getting to know everyone even better than I already did through the program.”

Cameron Conyers is a recent graduate of Tyner Middle High Academy and has been a Little Brother in our E-Mentoring program for over a year. He plans to attend MTSU to study Business Administration in the fall!
