This week, the City of Chattanooga’s Office of Arts, Culture and Creative Economy (ACCE) is excited to present two opportunities for the community to gather through music, culture, movement, and creativity.
Friday, June 5th, join us as we partner with and to bring back Soul Roll for one night only in St. Elmo. Enjoy an evening of music, skating, food, and community featuring and food trucks curated by Food Trappers Union. A limited number of free skate rentals will be available. Special thanks to our media sponsors at Brewer Media for helping us spread the word.
Then on Saturday, we head to East Lake Park for the 4th Annual June Fest, a vibrant celebration of Caribbean, Southern, and Central American cultures. Guests can enjoy live entertainment, vendors, food, and family friendly activities in one of Chattanooga’s historic neighborhoods.
Both events are free to attend and open to the public. We hope to see the community out celebrating with us this week.

Introducing the official poster series created by local artist Chad Suggs for three of the City of Chattanooga’s America 250 Celebrations.
Today we’re excited to reveal the official poster series for Chattanooga’s America 250 celebrations, created by local artist Chad Suggs. Each design highlights the creativity, culture, and community spirit behind these special events honoring America’s 250th anniversary.
The America 250 Celebration Series includes:
• June 28 — Democracy Speaks @ Renaissance Park
A Poetry Pathways experience featuring poetry from 16 poets displayed on signage throughout Renaissance Park, alongside an evening of live poetry performances, spoken word, live music, and community gathering presented by Rhyme N Chatt and the City of Chattanooga Office of Arts, Culture & Creative Economy
• July 2 — Pops on the River @ Coolidge Park
A 26-year tradition continues as Chattanooga’s beloved summer celebration returns with live music, fireworks, food trucks, a Homegrown Vendor Market, Kids Zone activities, and performances by the Chattanooga Symphony & Opera
• July 3 — Hamilton in the Round @ Renaissance Park
A free outdoor sing-along screening of the hit musical Hamilton. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets for an evening of music, storytelling, and community under the stars.

Meet the artist behind the gates.
Join us for OPEN GATES: Public Art Opening Celebration & Scavenger Hunt at Erlanger Park on Saturday, May 16 from 4:30 PM–5:00 PM as we celebrate new public art by Chattanooga- and Atlanta-based artist Tommy Bronx.
A multidisciplinary visual artist and designer, Tommy Bronx creates large-scale murals and public installations that connect people to place through storytelling, design, and regional identity.
Be among the first to experience the new public art entry gates before the game, meet the artist, enjoy a scavenger hunt, and compete for special prizes along the way.
will also throw out the first pitch as the take on the Pensacola Blue Wahoos later that evening.
The public art celebration and scavenger hunt are free and open to the public. Admission to the baseball game is not included.
