But seriously… distracted driving is no joke. Looking at your phone, even for a few seconds, takes your attention away from the road. Your group chat will survive without you for the next few minutes. We promise!

Congratulations to Corporal Ginger Dockery and Officer Walker Anderson on successfully completing Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) training hosted by the Chattanooga Police Department.

CIT training equips law enforcement officers with additional tools to recognize and respond effectively to individuals experiencing a mental health crisis.

Thank you, Corporal Dockery and Officer Anderson, for continuing to build the skills and knowledge that help us better serve and support the UTC community!

On Saturday, August 29, 2026, at approximately 9:00 AM, the UTC Police Department received a report of a possible Sexual Exploitation incident. The victim, a UTC student, reported sharing intimate videos online with an individual they believed to be anonymous. That individual then threatened to release the videos unless the student paid them.

This incident is actively under investigation by the UTC Police Department.
