We are aware of the fire at the turn back. Property owner is with the fire, has proper permits, and has fire break….all is good

Monthly board meeting 6pm EST(Chattanooga) at the firehall tomorrow night….everyone is invited

We are overwhelmed by the tremendous response and support shown by our community for the Suck Creek Mountain Volunteer Fire Department (SCMVFD) with the donation letters that were sent out.

We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to all the property owners and donors who contributed. Your generosity helps ensure that our volunteer firefighters have the equipment, training, and resources needed to protect our community.

Many of you also included kind notes thanking our firefighters for their service. Those words mean more than you know. Our volunteers give their time, energy, and dedication to serve this community, and your encouragement reminds them why they do it.

Suck creek mtn residents…please keep your eye out for this letter in the next coming days…this is a great way to support your local fire department. Some may not know, but without the fire department, home owners insurance increases. If you have any questions feel free to reach out!

We will have a board meeting on Feb 11th at the fire hall…it will be in the afternoon, not 100% on the time…will update when we know….these are open to the public, feel free to stop in…if you are intrested in an application that would be the best time to get one
