Hey there! We would like to thank everyone who has reached out to us about donating food and supplies for the Community Thanksgiving Dinner! We are very blessed to have secured turkeys and pies for this year's dinner. Because of this, we have created an Amazon "gift registry" with other food and supplies needed to feed 400 people on Thanksgiving Day. Any items purchased will be shipped directly to our Social Services Office. Thank you to everyone who makes it possible for us to serve our community every year at Thanksgiving!

❤️ One volunteer can make a difference.

After experiencing loss and looking for a new sense of purpose, Sherry found a way to give back through volunteering with The Salvation Army. Today, she helps serve between 85 and 110 meals each day she volunteers, but it's the relationships she builds that mean the most.

A familiar face. A warm greeting. A simple reminder that someone is seen and valued.

Volunteers like Sherry help strengthen communities every day, and there's a place for you to make an impact, too. Read Sherry's story and learn how you can get involved: https://salarmy.us/4yFLUIm

Last Christmas, Adriona wasn't sure what the holidays would look like for her family.

After moving across the country with her husband and three boys, she was working to build a new life in a new community. Then she found The Salvation Army.

What began with food assistance and weekly community meals became much more than that. Through Christmas assistance, her family received gifts for the boys and even a live Christmas tree.

Looking back, Adriona describes The Salvation Army in just a few words: "They are definitely a family to me." ❤️
