The Splash Pad at the Sports Complex has officially been shut down for this year. We will reopen in the spring!

The City of Checotah has reopened its limb pile for limb drop off to our City residents. Reminder that the limbs are to be cut up in 4 ft or smaller pieces and no large tree chunks! Thank you.

Water has been restored to Northeast side of Checotah. Water should return back to normal over the next couple of hours. If you experience any more issues please contact City Hall. Thank you for your patience!

If you live near Southeast 4th and Gentry or Northeast 4th and Gentry you could experience low to no water pressure over next couple hours while the Water Department repairs a leak. Thank you for your patience.

The City of Checotah Water department will be adding a shut off valve to the Northwest side of Checotah this evening Friday October 2nd. Water will be shut off to the Northwest side of town from 930pm till 1030pm for this maintenance. We wanted everyone to be aware and prepared for the potential of no water for that hour tonight.
