We build our home. King’s Home. It is indeed our Father’s home. And it indeed has many rooms. Rooms for the neglected. Rooms for the abused. Rooms for the abandoned. Rooms for the homeless. Rooms for the terrified. Rooms for the confused. Rooms for the hopeless. This is King’s Home. One mission. One purpose. To serve youth, mothers and children at risk. This is our calling from Christ. When we serve them, we serve Him. When we nurture them, we nurture Him. When we comfort them, we comfort Him. When we transform them, we transform Him. When we heal them, we heal Him. When we love them, we love Him. When we honor them, we honor Him. A place with one solid mission. A place with one united purpose. A place built upon the solid foundation of Christ. A place where compassion resides. A place where love dwells. A place where hope lives. Where hope lives.

King’s Garden: New Session — All About Propellers! 🚤🚗

Our latest King’s Garden session was all about propellers and how they help things move! Our youth had a great time exploring science, engineering, and hands-on learning through some fun activities.

⚡ They saw a mini propeller system that actually generated electricity to charge a car!

🚁 They learned about drones and built their own helicopters.

🚗 They designed and built self-propelled cars, then raced them to see whose creation would come out on top!

🚤 They also experimented with boats powered by propellers in the pool, learning how propellers help boats move through the water.

What a great session filled with creativity, discovery, teamwork, and plenty of fun! At King’s Garden, learning comes to life as our youth explore how things work and discover new possibilities.

A Beautiful New Place to Pray and Reflect!

Over the past several months, an Eagle Scout from Troop 53 has been working on a wonderful project at our Wilsonville campus—a beautiful hiking trail and prayer walk complete with Scripture signs and benches.

We are so grateful for his hard work and dedication in creating such a special place for our youth and staff to step away from the busyness of the day, spend time in prayer, reflect on God’s Word, and enjoy the beauty of His creation.

What a blessing to have this peaceful space on our campus! Thank you to this outstanding Scout for creating a place where faith can grow and hearts can find peace.

One of our Boys' Homes enjoyed a relaxing Fall Break this week with ALL of their favorite things: a coffee bar, Chick-fil-A sandwiches, early-morning fishing, and throwing the baseball and football.

Today, we say goodbye to two very special members of the King’s Home family—Shea Bailey, Executive Director of Youth Programs, and Michael Britton, Boys Site Director.

Both Shea and Michael have made an incredible impact—not only on the youth they have served, but also on the staff members who have had the privilege of working alongside them. Their leadership and dedication to both youth and staff have left a lasting mark on many lives here.

While we will certainly miss their presence, we are so grateful for the time, energy, and heart they have poured into this ministry. We celebrate all they have accomplished and look forward to seeing what God has in store for each of them in their future endeavors.

Thank you, Shea and Michael, for being such an important part of the King’s Home family. You will be missed! 💙

One of our girls' homes is collecting grocery bags over the next 2 weeks to weave them into mats for people experiencing homelessness. We are so proud of their hearts to serve others!💕
