Yesterday, the Show Choir had their annual in-school field trip "Choreography Camp" with Bobby (their awesome choreographer!) to learn the Christmas routine! They spent the whole school day in the choir room together and it was a great day of team building and learning! We are SO proud of them and their hard work, and can't wait to see the final production at the Christmas Concert in December!

The ChMS Band program was fortunate enough to spend time with one of Ms. Lyon’s friends and colleagues last Thursday! Josh Scalf is a professional musician that was visiting from Nashville and decided to come to our very own band room to talk about staying involved in music and how making music is FOREVER! Ms. Lyon and Mr. Scalf performed at Troy University together and have stayed in touch for over 20 years! We are so thankful he chose to spend time speaking and performing for our band students! It’s definitely a moment that they will not forget! Hornet Pride!!

Our 3rd Annual CHMS Veterans Day Program will be held on Tuesday, November 10 at 1:30pm! If your student has a Veteran and would like them to attend the program, please sign them up using the QR code or the link attached. Students also received this information today during Advisory.
