Hey Spokane, this is Curtis Point with Curtis Point Tree Service

These fires have hit way too close to home.

A lot of families in our community are dealing with things nobody should have to go through alone.

So from now through the end of October, we’re doing something simple.

For every quote that gets approved and scheduled with us, we’re setting aside 5% of our profit from that job to help people affected by the fires.

Tree work is what we do.

So tree work is how we’re going to help.

That could be a tree removal or just a trim.

Or even cleanup work you’ve already been meaning to get done.

If you already have tree work on your property that needs attention, this is a good time to schedule it.

You’ll get the work handled, and part of our profit from that job will go back to neighbors who need it right now.

We’ll share updates as we go so people can see where the money is going.

We love this community.

We’re thankful for the firefighters, first responders, volunteers, and neighbors who have stepped up.

Tap below to schedule a free estimate.

We’ll take care of the tree work.

And together, we’ll help take care of Spokane.

Some jobs make you drink your coffee a little slower before you start.

Big pine.

Tight yard.

Lines close by.

That’s the kind of job where everybody slows down, looks around, and talks through the plan before the saw ever starts.

Tree work can look pretty simple from the ground.

Then you look up and realize you’ve got a crane, power lines, rooftops, fences, and gravity all wanting to be part of the conversation.

So yeah…

We take jobs like this seriously.

You have to know where each piece is going.

You have to trust your crew.

And you have to be patient enough to do it the right way.

The goal is pretty simple:

Protect the property.

Keep the crew safe.

Get the tree handled right.

If you’ve got a tree sitting close to the house, the lines, or anything you really don’t want smashed…

We’re happy to come take a look and give you an honest opinion.

One of my favorite pieces of American history is something a lot of people have never heard of.

Before America was a country, there was an old elm tree in Boston.

It sat along one of the busiest roads into town.

In 1765, a group of regular people gathered under that tree to protest the newly imposed stamp tax they thought was unfair.

the tree became a gathering place for protests, celebrations, speeches, and meetings

Before long, that old elm tree had a new name…

The Liberty Tree.

The tree is still remembered today.

But it was the ordinary people beneath it who changed history.

Blacksmiths.

Carpenters.

Farmers.

Merchants.

Just regular citizens.

People who worked with their hands, kept their word, and wanted to build something better for their kids and grandkids.

Two hundred and fifty years later…

I think that's still what makes America special.

Not the buildings.

Not the politics.

It’s the people.

Parents raising their kids.

Small business owners opening before sunrise.

The first responders. Teachers. Nurses.

The men and women who work with their hands every day.

And the neighbors who still wave when you drive by.

That's the America worth celebrating.

So Happy Independence Day, everyone.

P.S. We may be a little biased... but it's pretty cool that one of the greatest symbols of American freedom… happened to be a tree. 🌳

Most people don't know why I started Curtis Point Tree Service.

It wasn't because I wanted to own chainsaws or heavy equipment.

It was because I saw too many homeowners getting rushed through jobs that should've been done carefully.

Trees are heavy.

They grow over homes, fences, pools, and power lines.

One wrong cut can turn a simple project into thousands of dollars in damage.

So when we take on a job, we're never trying to see how fast we can get in and out.

We take the time to plan it.

We protect your property.

We clean up like we were never there.

And if I wouldn't do the work at my own house, I won't do it at yours.

That's why I started Curtis Point Tree Service

Not to be the biggest company in Spokane.

Just one that homeowners know they can trust.

If you've been thinking about getting those trees taken care of, we'd be honored to come give you a free estimate.

We hired a local 4th grader to do our marketing to try and keep our prices reasonable and pass the savings on to you.

In all seriousness though, we believe in keeping our overhead low so we can keep our prices fair.

No fancy marketing department. No corporate headquarters. Just a local crew that shows up, does great work, and charges you honestly for it.

If you've got a tree situation and want a straight answer on price, tap below to get a quote.

We'll give you an honest estimate…and we promise not to draw with crayons.

Can I clear something up?

A lot of people think tree work is low skill labor.

I get it. From the outside it probably looks that way.

Guy climbs a tree. Cuts some branches. Done.

But let me tell you what's actually happening up there.

Right now I've got a guy suspended in a tree. Strapped in by a couple of ropes. Running a chainsaw. Thirty feet off the ground.

He's reading the tree in real time. Figuring out which cut to make next. Thinking three moves ahead about where each piece is going to fall and how to control it on the way down.

One wrong decision and somebody gets hurt.

This is one of the most dangerous jobs in the country. And I mean that literally. The statistics back it up.

Most people don't realize how much goes into training someone to do this work safely.

Even after someone joins our crew it takes years before I feel truly comfortable with them up in the trees.

Not weeks. Not months.

YEARS of learning, practicing, making mistakes on the ground, and slowly earning the right to work at height with a running chainsaw.
So when you get a quote from someone who is dramatically cheaper than everyone else, I'd ask yourself one question.

How much do you actually know about the person they're sending up your tree?

We take this seriously because we have to.

The margin for error up there is basically zero.

This is Mrs. Sneddon.

A few months ago we removed a monster locust tree from her property.

She called us back recently to have this one trimmed up and brought back in so it wasn't blocking her neighbor's yard and driveway.

I love jobs like this one.

Not because they're the biggest or the most technical.

But because of what they represent.

Mrs. Sneddon trusted us the first time.

And she called us back.

That's everything to me.

In this business you can get a job from anyone. But getting called back means you actually did something right. It means someone felt good enough about the experience to pick up the phone again instead of starting over with someone new.

We don't take that lightly.

Every job we do is someone's home. Their yard. The place their kids play and their family gathers.

We try to treat it that way every single time.

So when Mrs. Sneddon called us back I made sure we showed up the same way we always do.

On time. Careful. Clean.

And we left her yard looking exactly the way she wanted it.
If you've got a tree situation in Spokane and you want a crew that actually cares about doing it right, send us a message.

We'd love to earn a call back from you too.

P.S. I'm a firm believer that if there were more Mrs. Sneddon's in this world...it would be a lot better place.

We went out to remove a maple last week and found out it was already someone's home.

Meet the tenant.

He was not consulted about the removal.

After we found him in there we did some research on wildlife removal companies in the area.

Turns out most of them euthanize when they catch them.
We weren't okay with that.

So we changed the plan.

We removed the hazardous parts of the maple that needed to come down for safety. But we left his home standing.
We even added little roofs to the tree tops so the rain couldn't get in.

I've been doing this work in Spokane for six years.

And I can tell you sometimes the job doesn't go exactly the way you planned it.

Sometimes you show up to do one thing and you end up doing something completely different because it's just the right thing to do.

Hello Spokane and surrounding areas!

My name is Curtis Point and I own Curtis Point Tree Service. You've probably seen our trucks around town, but I wanted to take a second and introduce myself — the actual person behind the business.

A few things about me that have nothing to do with trees:

I've been married to Nia for 10 years. She's the real reason this business works. I handle the trees. She handles everything else. (She'd probably say that's accurate.)

We have 6 kids, ages 17yrs to 10 months They keep us busy and remind me every single day why I do this.

We treat every customer the way we'd want to be treated. That's not a slogan — it's just how we were raised.

When I'm not working, I'm probably taking the kids to one of there sporting events or taking them out into nature. Ask me about it and I'll talk your ear off.

I started Curtis Point Tree Service 6 years ago because I wanted to build something for my family that we could be proud and I've been climbing trees my whole life.

We're a local family business. Not a franchise. Not a call center in another state. When you call us, you get us.

If you've ever needed tree work done or know someone who has — I'd love to earn your trust.
