Youth involved in rabbit projects develop responsibility, animal care skills, and confidence while learning how to properly raise and manage their animals. The Iowa 4-H Statewide Rabbit Group provides a place for rabbit enthusiasts to grow their knowledge, improve their show rabbit projects, and connect with fellow 4-H'ers who share their interests. Through monthly meetings, members gain valuable tips and hands-on learning opportunities throughout the year.

Whether you're new to showing pigs or have years of experience, the Iowa 4-H Statewide Swine Group helps youth build the skills and confidence needed to successfully raise and exhibit swine. Members learn about animal care, management practices, and ways to improve their show pig projects while connecting with others who share the same interests. Throughout the year, youth can participate in monthly meetings, complete activities, and earn awards for their involvement.

Trying to make a serious video about Iowa 4-H Giving Day.

Jill: “What if I did the 6- 7 thing in increasingly unnecessary outfits?”

…so anyway, Iowa 4-H Giving Day is happening NOW through noon tomorrow! 💚

National 4-H Week kicks off Monday, October 5, and we're celebrating with GO GREEN day!

Why green? Because 4-H helps young people grow into confident leaders, caring citizens, and future problem-solvers. When we go green, we're showing our support for the youth and volunteers who make 4-H possible.

We're challenging YOU to join the movement! Change your porch light, business signage, office lighting, or outdoor displays to green. Snap a photo and tag us in the post! Share with a friend, neighbor, business, church, school, or organization that could go green too!

Need another reason to celebrate? Fifty Nine Grind, Kee Nutrition Energy & SHake Bar, Mud On Main, and Boheme Nutrition will be joining the fun with a special green drink all week! Get a delicious green drink and show your support for 4-H!

Let's see how much green we can spread across our community! Who do you challenge to go green with us?
