Fall festivities, friendly faces, and a great afternoon with our Cherry Hill community!

Members of the Cherry Hill Police Department enjoyed participating in this year’s Harvest Festival at Croft Farm, joining residents and families for one of our community’s favorite fall traditions.

Throughout the event, our officers spent time interacting with children, handing out giveaways, catching up with familiar faces, and meeting new residents who stopped by our table. These moments are what make community events so special, providing opportunities for positive interactions and allowing our officers to connect with residents outside of their traditional law enforcement roles.

A special thank you to Mayor Fleisher, Cherry Hill Township Council, and everyone involved in organizing another successful Harvest Festival. We also appreciate all the residents and families who stopped by to say hello and helped make the day so enjoyable!

🚓🎓 Citizen Police Academy | Registration Now Open 🎓🚓

The Cherry Hill Police Department is proud to offer the residents the 6th annual Citizen Police Academy.

Ever wonder what happens behind the scenes the Cherry Hill Police Department? Our Citizen Police Academy is your opportunity to find out.

This 9-week program is designed to increase residents’ understanding of the operational policies and day to day functions of the department. Participants will gain firsthand insight into various aspects of law enforcement and learn more about the people, programs, and services that make up the Cherry Hill Police Department.

Throughout the program, residents have the opportunity to engage with members of our department, learn about different areas of law enforcement, and gain a better understanding of the work our officers do each day.

The Citizen Police Academy is open to any adult that is a Cherry Hill resident who has not previously participated in the program, provided they have no felony convictions or pending criminal actions at the time of application.

The Academy will meet every Wednesday from 6:00 PM – 8:30 PM at 820 Mercer St. from January 13 – March 10. Class size is limited to 30 people on a first come, first served basis, and there is no cost to attend.

🖤💙 Honoring Sergeant Shane Seiber 💙🖤

Members of the Cherry Hill Police Department attended the funeral services for Philadelphia Police Department Sergeant Shane Seiber, who was tragically killed in the line of duty on October 10, 2026.

Members of the law enforcement community came together to pay their respects, support his family and fellow officers, and honor a life dedicated to serving others.

Our thoughts and prayers remain with Sergeant Seiber’s family, friends, fellow officers, and the entire Philadelphia Police Department during this difficult time.

Rest in peace, Sergeant Seiber. Your service and sacrifice will never be forgotten.
