Science in Motion! Our third graders teamed up in pairs to build model cars as part of our Simple Machines unit! Students explored how wheels and axles work together to help objects move, then put their designs to the test with a friendly car race.

It was a fun, hands-on way to combine science, teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving! 💙💛

Hispanic Heritage Month Spotlight: Puerto Rico! 🇵🇷

Today, one of our news anchors, Marcellous, chatted with Mrs. Young to share about Puerto Rico and help our Carver family learn more about this beautiful U.S. territory.

Marcellous shared about his connection to Puerto Rico through his grandfather, whose family is from the island.

Join Carver for our Title I Family Engagement Night, MapQuest: Find Your Way to success on Tuesday, October 13 from 5:00- 6:00PM. There is a parent workshop, student activities, and the book fair is open for shopping.

🇬🇹 Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month! 🇬🇹

This morning on TNT News, four of our students proudly shared about their homeland of Guatemala and gave our Tiger family a glimpse into the country, culture, and traditions that are special to them.

They were joined by Ms. Hill-Pensamiento, whose father is also from Guatemala, making the morning announcement a meaningful celebration of shared heritage and connection.

We are so proud of our students for helping us learn more about the many cultures that make GWC such a special place!
