Happy 251st Birthday to the U.S. Navy! We are proud to be home to the world's largest naval base, and we appreciate the dedication of our incredible military members!

Happy 251st Birthday to the United States Navy! ⚓🇺🇸

For 251 years, the U.S. Navy has played a vital role in protecting our nation and shaping our maritime history.

At Nauticus, we're proud to help bring that history to life through engaging exhibits, hands-on learning, and the iconic Battleship Wisconsin. From exploring our Navy exhibit to walking the decks of a historic battleship, we strive to connect visitors of all ages with the stories, sacrifices, and achievements of those who have served.

Today, we celebrate the Navy's incredible legacy and the Sailors who continue to carry it forward. Happy Birthday, U.S. Navy! 💙

Recently, HRTPO Deputy Executive Director Pavithra Parthasarathi provided the opening remarks at the Third Annual HRBT Golf Invitational with funds directly benefitting the Conference on Minority Transportation Officials (COMTO) Scholarship Fund. The scholarship fund exists to support students seeking future careers within the transportation industry. This is especially relevant for our region as we continue to invest in our infrastructure. Supporting and providing access for our young scholars who are the future of our industry is critical to ensuring our region's continued growth, sustainability, and success.

Dr. Parthasarathi shared how over 30 years ago the expansion of the HRBT was just a plan in our office, and now it is almost complete. These projects are generational and require our continued collaborative efforts to ensure we retain and nurture our bright and promising talent here at home. We are excited to share that they raised over $25,000 for scholars!
