The Ruth Bennett Community Farm will host its bi-weekly FREE food distribution this Thursday, June 25th from 1 to 3 p.m.

Stop by to get a box filled with local seasonal produce that includes greens, fruit, herbs, and eggs.

Want to learn more about homebuying and being a homeowner? The Chester Homebuyers and Homeowners Fair will take place on Saturday, June 27th from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The fair will provide an overview of Chester’s Homebuyer Assistance Program and resources for homeowners.

Additionally, key topics will be covered — including credit and mortgage financing, selecting a home, inspections, and the settlement process.

Registration will begin on the day of the event at 9:30 a.m.

Location: Christian Church of Chester, 308 W. 3rd St. in Chester, PA
Registration: 9:30 a.m. the day of the event

Please note that CHA offices will be closed on Friday, June 19th in observance of Juneteenth.

PA’s Department of Human Services offers SUN Bucks, the state’s Summer EBT program, which is a new grocery benefits program that provides households with a one-time payment of $120 for each eligible child to buy food while school is out.
