Flashback to our 3rd Annual Thanksgiving Celebration for the Fairgrounds Community that was held on Thurs, November 14, 2024. What a great evening of networking, resources, giveaways, food, music and spreading much JOY for the holiday season. A special thank you to our sponsors Highmark Wholecare ESSA Bank & Trust Aetna Everest Urgent Care for helping us make this event a success. We appreciate the support of Rep. Leanne Krueger, Councilman Calvin Bernard, Councilwoman Candice Newsome and District Director Lauren Cox from Congresswoman Mary Gay Scanlon’s Office, as their presence at our event meant a great deal to our residents and shows the meaningful impact they continue to make in the community. We are hosting a Vaccination Clinic on Wednesday, November 20, 2024 from 11:00am-2:00pm at Bridgeview Community Center, located at 1301 Peterson Street, Chester Township, Pa 19013. The Vaccination Clinic is sponsored by City of Chester, PA Government and Woodlyn Good Neighbor Pharmacy. We will be offering COVId-19 latest booster, RSV and the Flu Shot. Please bring your vaccine card and insurance/medicare card.

Workshop 2 will be “How to Increase Cash Flow and Manage Debt”. This workshop will be Tuesday, November 12, 2024 at 5:30pm and will be facilitated by Desaree Jones from DKJ Group, LLC.

Dear Community,

Today we were notified and saddened to hear of a tragic event which lead to the loss a of a member (a child) of the Fairgrounds Community that occurred over the weekend. The event did not happen nor occur in the Fairgrounds Community, but the loss has still impacted many of our residents and everyone who knew the child and their family well.

We want to extend our deepest condolences and prayers to the family. We understand the profound impact that grief can have on families and friends, and want to assure you that you are not alone in this difficult time.

Our mission is to provide compassionate support to our community, and this includes offering a safe space for those experiencing loss. We are here to connect families to resources that can help them navigate through challenging periods.
