A huge THANK YOU to Cypress and Creed
Today, Chester Volunteer Fire Department received our check from the 9/11 fundraiser put together by Cypress and Creed, and we are incredibly grateful for their support of not only our department, but volunteer fire departments across Tyler County.
What originally started as a goal to raise $911 for one fire department turned into something much bigger. With the support of our communities, they were able to raise $911 for nearly every fire department in Tyler County!
Three departments, including Chester VFD, received $1,190 — keeping the 9/11 theme going with “911” backwards!
It means a lot to see a local business step up and support the men and women who volunteer their time to serve our communities. For departments like ours that depend heavily on donations, fundraisers, and grants to keep our trucks running and equipment ready, support like this truly makes a difference.
Thank you to Cypress and Creed for putting this together, and thank you to EVERYONE who donated, voted, shared the fundraiser, and helped make it such a success.
From all of us at Chester Volunteer Fire Department — THANK YOU for supporting your local volunteer firefighters!
