Chesterfield Health District Medical Reserve Corps The Chesterfield Medical Reserve Corps is a force of dedicated volunteers who stand ready to support the community in the event of a public health emergency.

We promote and protect public health in Colonial Heights, Chesterfield & Powhatan, Virginia. We are volunteers building strong, healthy, and prepared communities in Chesterfield County, Powhatan County and the City of Colonial Heights. The Virginia Department of Health (VDH) is conducting a statewide effort to update and improve records for all aquatic facilities, including pools, splash pads, aquatic centers, therapy pools, HOAs and gym pools, and similar venues. As part of this initiative, we are asking facility managers to complete a short survey to confirm their contact information, location, and venue type. Your facility will be added to our email list for updates on regulatory processes, guidance, and other important announcements.

What services will be available during reduced service periods?

-Nursing home screenings
-TB home visiting
-New client maternity exams
-Disease Intervention Specialist services
-WIC will remain open
