The 42nd Basic Academy continues to prepare future Chesterfield County Sheriff’s Office deputies with a wide range of training designed to build knowledge, confidence, and essential skills for serving our community.

This week’s classes include Family Abuse & Protective Orders, Stress Management, Problem Solving, Sovereign Citizen Training, Community Leadership, Basic Interview & Interrogation, Animal Control, Cultural Diversity, Public Speaking, and Alzheimer’s Awareness.

Along with some physical fitness, they also completed their fourth History Run conducted by Captain Penepacker at the Central Library.

Every class is another step toward developing well-rounded deputies who are prepared to protect, serve, and make a difference in our community.
