We are incredibly honored to share that the Wyoming National Guard Peer Support Program has been spotlighted in the Summer 2026 edition of Resilient Mettle, the National Guard Bureau Warrior Resilience & Fitness Division's publication!

Being recognized at the national level is a testament to the dedication of every Service Member, leader, and partner who has believed in this program and its mission.

This recognition belongs to every participant who embraced the training and committed themselves to looking out for one another. Together, we're proving that prevention starts at the lowest level—one conversation, one connection, and one act of support at a time.

Thank you to everyone who has supported this journey. We can't wait to continue growing this program and influencing change across the force. The best is still to come.

Last week, Service Members from the Wyoming Army National Guard, Wyoming Air National Guard, and South Dakota Army National Guard participated in the pilot course for the Wyoming National Guard Peer Support Program. These outstanding individuals were the first to receive the newly updated training curriculum and provided exceptional feedback, engagement, and participation throughout the course.
Participants received comprehensive, evidence-based training focused on identifying and supporting fellow Service Members during times of need at the lowest level. Through this program, they are better equipped to serve as a bridge between available resources and those seeking support, while also serving as a helping hand to their command teams in fostering a culture of care, connection, and prevention. The program strengthens organizational cohesion, connectedness, and resilience across the force.
We are incredibly proud of these Service Members for their commitment to supporting others and helping build a stronger, more connected organization.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month 💚

Your mental health matters — every single day.
Taking care of your mind is just as important as taking care of your body.

This month, let’s:
Check in on our friends and family
Practice self-care without guilt
Speak openly about mental health
Show Kindness, you never know what someone is facing
Remember that asking for help is a sign of strength

Whether it’s taking a walk, talking to someone you trust, journaling, resting, or seeking professional support, small steps count.

You are not alone, and your story matters.
