South Suburban PADS SSPADS provides shelter, housing, and supportive services that help people find pathways home.

SSPADS currently has 20 full time paid staff and 10 part-time staff, to manage a range of programs and services, administration and finance, programming, development and communications. Hundreds of volunteers oversee and operate our emergency shelter network. SSPADS will continue its growth from initially delivering only shelter services to a leader in the provision of transitional and permanent housing, in conjunction with an array of supportive services. Our Country Club Hills Wellness Center, is a 77-unit permanent supportive housing development, with wraparound services, the first of its kind in the southland region, providing permanent supportive housing for formerly homeless individuals and families.

Yesterday, we hosted our Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon to celebrate the hard work and support of our volunteers. ❤🙌

Some have been with us for decades, serving meals to unhoused neighbors in the south suburbs of Chicago.

This time, we served them delicious food and filled the room with treats and laughter. We believe our volunteers are out of this world. Thank you for all you do! ❤💞
