Connect Will County is here for Will County residents, offering support and financial assistance including individual and family counseling, psychiatric services, early appointments, and telehealth or in‑person options.

A partnership between the Will County Community Mental Health Board and the Joliet Fire Department, Connect Will County supports those facing anxiety, depression, stress, or major life changes.

Dolly Parton's music career spanned decades, earning her fame, fortune and awards. But as she revealed to "CBS Sunday Morning" in 2019, only one thing that mattered to her.

"I always count my blessings more than I count my money," Parton told Tony Dokoupil. "I don't work for money. Never did. It was the art. It was the job. I loved the work. And I've done well, and I'm thankful for it."

Parton died at the age of 80, according to her family.

The Chicago Police Department remembers Patrolman John William Mathews, Sr., Star #9827, EOW: May 21, 1988. Patrolman Mathews served the Department for 27 years before he was tragically killed. He was survived by his wife, three children, parents, and siblings.
