**Coming to the Haunted Hall?**

Street parking is allowed on the streets that are open near the event. Parking lots are also available at 106th and Ridgeland, 6252 Birmingham and at the dead end of 103rd and Oxford. Streets involved at the event site will be closed by 12pm on Saturday. Handicap parking will be available on Birmingham in front of the Library.

**Halloween Treats anyone?**

The Village of Chicago Ridge is proud to have our annual Free Haunted Hall event with a Trunk or Treat on October 24, 2026, from 4pm to 8pm.

The Chicago Ridge Police Department, Chicago Ridge Fire Department, Chicago Ridge Public Works and the Village Hall will all be offering Trunks with lots of goodies to give out! We may even have some special guest Trunks participating!

The Chicago Ridge Public Library is hosting their annual Pumpkin Patch as well as a Costume Contest. There will be a Spooky Haunted Train, Bumper Cars, Face Painting, Music and beverages available from Emerald Cup Coffeee. Also, the Annual Jon's Way Haunted Hall inspired by Stranger Things.

**Costume Rocking this year?**

The Chicago Ridge Public Library is having a Halloween Costume Contest at the Village Hall Haunted Hall Event on October 24th! There will be prizes awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners! Contestant groups will be divided by age, and winners will be announced at various times throughout the night. Contestant groups will be Birth to 4 years old at 4:30pm, from 4-12 years old at 5:30pm, from 13–17 years old at 6:30pm and Adults at 7:30pm. All are encouraged to enter!

Remember there will be plenty of activities and entertainment at the Village Hall, including the Pumpkin Patch, Trunk or Treat, a spooky Halloween Train, Bumper Cars, Face Painting, a DJ and more! The Haunted Hall event is behind the Village Hall from 4pm to 8pm, October 24th!

**The Haunted Hall is happy to announce that Emerald Cup Coffee will be going us on October 24th from 4pm to 8pm, to sell their fabulous Fall Menu specialty drinks!**

The Village of Chicago Ridge would like to introduce our residents to our AI - our staff. As opposed to other call services we see our AI as "Authentic Interactions."

Years ago, former Mayor Siegel promised the residents that the Village would "Always answer the phone." The Village is still committed to that idea, if you call during business hours, we answer the call! If you need to reach us after hours, please leave a message and we will call you back.

Need to Appeal your Property Assessment? The Village of Chicago Ridge is hosting the Cook County Assessor's Office on Friday, October 9th from 10am to 2pm for one-on-one help with your Property Questions. There is no need to sign up!

Remember the Appeal Deadline for our Worth Township is October 15, 2026, so this may be your last opportunity to get the assistance you need!

**Friends Don't Lie....This year's Haunted Hall will be Amazing!**

The Village of Chicago Ridge is proud to have our annual Free Haunted Hall event on October 24, 2026, from 4pm to 8pm. This year Jon's Way has outdone themselves with a Stranger Things inspired Haunted House, which will once again be indoors at the Village Hall.

There will also be an outdoors event with our annual Pumpkin Patch, Trunk or Treat, Face Painter and Music. Additionally, this year there will be Bumper Cars and a Spooky Train. Also new this year Emerald Cup Coffee will be here too with their line of specialty beverages on sale. All are welcome!
