🌭Windy City Hot Dog fest kicks off TONIGHT, May 29th, at Six Corners and runs all weekend long!

💧Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago is hosting their final open house and tour of the season this Saturday, May 30th, at their Calumet Water Reclamation Plant starting at 10am.

🌳The Chicago Parks Foundation is hosting their annual It's Your Park Day to kick off their official volunteer season this Saturday, May30th. Check with your local park to see if they are hosting an event!

🏳️‍🌈Join Cook County Commissioner Jessica Vásquez and Anthony Quezada, Chicago's 35th Ward Alderman for a Pride Month flag raising on Monday, June 1st at Noon in Logan Square.

🗣25th District CPD is hosting an Older Adult Resource Fair on Tuesday, June 2nd starting at 10am.

The 30th Ward received a very generous donation of non-perishable food from this morning to help stock our community pantry! Our free pantry is by the community, for the community and we are so grateful for the support of neighbors and places like and who make it possible. Thank you!

🚨Scam Alert🚨

Our office has received several complaints about a company going door-to-door selling pesticide treatments. Sales representatives have reportedly told residents that they are working on a neighbor's property and noticed an issue at the resident's home. In some cases, they have claimed their services are related to City mosquito abatement or other City work.

As a reminder, City employees and contractors will never ask you to provide credit card information for work being performed on behalf of the City. If anyone requests payment or credit card information while claiming to represent the City, please contact our office right away.

Update: Rocco has been reunited with his humans! 🐾🐾🐾

Does anyone recognize this dog? He was found without a collar near Milwaukee and Addison this morning, May 28th, around 8am. Neighbors were able to catch him and we have him at our office. Help us find his humans!
