Youth Outreach Services Youth Outreach Services (YOS) provides care to youth ages 12-21 in the Chicagoland area. YOS works with youth ages 11-24.

We are committed to providing the community-based support they need to meet challenges head-on, discover their strengths, and make healthier choices. YOS provides critical services in some of the highest need communities in Chicago.

What does support look like for a young person facing housing instability, violence, or behavioral health needs?

At Youth Outreach Services, it looks like meeting youth where they are, in homes, schools, neighborhoods, and program sites, with community-based, evidence-based care. Each year, YOS serves more than 2,700 youth across Chicago and the surrounding suburbs, helping young people build life skills, strengthen family and community connections, and move toward greater stability.

If you want to help, sometimes support looks like asking an open-ended question, sharing trusted local resources, or making a contribution that helps sustain these programs year-round.
