🌟✨CURA Alum Publication Highlight✨🌟

Audrey Bixby, a CURA alum with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting, with research mentor Associate Professor Rachelle Tsachor from the UIC School of Theatre and Music, was recently published, along with colleagues, in “The Journal of Research in Science Teaching”. The article, titled “You Get to Move Around Which in Science You Cannot Do”: Children's Identity Work and Positioning in Dramatizing Science,” explores bridging the gap between mind and body in the classroom, utilizing theatre practices. No matter your field of interest, there is plenty of research to be done, so check out their work and see what it ignites in you! Who knows…your inspiration for a research topic may be just around the corner! 👀💡🧐
