Feelings of Love and Gratitude

This year, we started a 3Seasons Program, running from September to June.
On the north side, we have a few spots open for Tuesdays 10am to 3pm! This program is geared towards 5-10 year olds. We've been having lots of fun learning new skills, working through our emotions, and coming up with incredible projects and plans.

We're working on getting programming going in the Little Village neighborhood and some South side locations! Feel free to reach out if you're interested in nature play.

Our team is growing and my goodness is it exciting! 🍄💕

Over at Wild Onion, we've been gearing up for the summer. We have adventures to share, stories to tell, and listening ears ready for what the kids share. We hope to create a restorative and restful space for kids and adults alike.

Kids are incredible!!

This year, we'll have weekly themes and project ideas. The kids will be able to see whatever the playworkers do with the objects and choose if they want to do the same or create something new!

Gear is so so important as the weather changes because it keeps our bodies safe!
When the weather changes it gets trickier and trickier to choose what to wear.
So what do we do?
We look to each other and ask our friends what keeps them warm in the cold!
Some creatures have blubber, some build up fat and grow thicker fur, but what about us?

We ask and we search in warmth as one community

At the beginning of autumn, we made individual backpack spots. The kids added beautiful colors and our wonderful playworker, Caroline sewed their names on!

Projects projects projects! We love a good project whether it is dissecting owl pellets, walking to the garden or making lemonade! Mother nature will always provide us with something fun to do!

Watching summer turn into fall is one of the most exciting adventures. We're so pumped at Wild Onion to see what the autumn brings in!
