We're hiring a Human Resources Officer to lead HR strategy for our agency! Reporting directly to the Executive Director, this role owns the full HR function — hiring, benefits, performance, training, compliance, and culture — and serves as a trusted advisor on our executive leadership team.

We're looking for a seasoned HR leader (5+ years progressive HR experience, PHR or SHRM-CP required) who knows employment law cold, leads with sound judgment, and wants to help shape the people side of a small, mission-driven agency. Nonprofit HR leadership experience is a plus.

There has been a lot of growth happening behind the scenes here at Of Color, Inc. We want to introduce our newest board members! Azia and Paige, we are so excited to have you as part of our Board of Directors.

Azia B. Provine joined the OCI Board of Directors in September 2025. She currently serves as the Regional Human Resources Business Partner for the Midwest Region at the American Heart Association. Throughout her career, she has championed employee engagement, workforce equity, and organizational development across nonprofit, corporate, and public sectors. Her commitment to advancing equitable outcomes and building stronger, healthier communities makes her a valuable addition to our Board of Directors.

We'd like to also welcome Paige Clincy, MBA to our Board of Directors!
Paige joined us in April 2026. Her background spans case management, employment services, mental health practice, and child welfare services, bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience to our organization. Her passion for community enrichment and helping others aligns closely with Of Color, Inc.'s mission, and we're excited to have her leadership and expertise on our Board of Directors.

We're proud to launch Of Color, Inc.'s Veteran Employment Program (VEP), a workforce development initiative with broader eligibility criteria, ensuring more veterans have access to the support they need to build stronger economic futures. Through VEP, veterans can receive personalized career support, job readiness training, direct job placement assistance, and connections to supportive services.

Made possible through the generous support of the Richard L. Duchossois Foundation and the Fischer Charitable Trust, VEP is committed to helping veterans overcome barriers to employment, secure meaningful careers, and achieve long-term economic stability.
