*Past supervisory experience required, with past nonprofit and/or AmeriCorps program management experience strongly preferred. House In The Wood in Delavan Wisconsin is looking for staff to teach our students from Chicago Public Schools. Our season begins with 2 weeks of training on April 4 and ends after 6 weeks of 3-day student visits on May 27. We teach Next Generation Science Standards outdoors AND social emotional learning (SEL) concepts like relationship skills, social awareness, and responsible decision making. We have documented the lasting positive changes in our students and their classroom from just a three day experience with House In The Wood outdoor educators. We are looking for people with a love of outdoors, some basic knowledge about the natural world plus experience and love for working with children. We will train you on everything from trauma-informed care to first aid/CPR to science lessons to SEL. Are you someone who wants to make an impact on our 420 kids this Spring? Apply now!
