The evidence already showed that Shotspotter slowed response times in Chicago and across the nation. There was never a good reason to pay millions for worse results.
They can work with the police to address problems and set priorities.
Building stronger connections between the police and the community at the district level, where the community is a true partner in making the neighborhood safer.

What do you think about key policy decisions such as:
- Whether to charge or let killer ICE agents and CPD officers roam.
- Ending the standard procedure and sending felony possession cases straight to courts without reviewing evidence or circumstances first, such as the constitutionality of a racially targeted pretextual stop.
- Elimination of Brady Lists that track cops with records that discredit their testimony, such as perjury convictions.

Cook County Board President Toni Preckwinkle, along with more than half of the county’s commissioners, have called on Cook County State’s Attorney Eileen O’Neil Burke to file charges against federal immigration agents involved in shootings that took place last year in the Chicago area — though Burke says her office has no jurisdiction.

The Council will vote on a resolution titled "Protect Chicago from Fascsim" at our meeting this Saturday, February 7th at the Logan Library, 3030 West Fullerton Ave that calls for:
1. Abolishing ICE/CBP
2. Ending all assistance of federal immigration by local law enforcement, and
3. Arresting and charging agents who commit crimes in our communities.
