The Board of Election Commissioners launched "Voter Engagement" in 2011 to work with Civic and Community Leaders to forge a strategic plan of comprehensive election reforms aimed at boosting registration and turnouts here and nationwide - for 2012 and beyond. The Board of Elections manages one of the largest election systems in the nation, overseeing all voter registration and election administration in the City of Chicago.
