Enjoy guided tours of our historic camp, lawn games, family-friendly activities, refreshments, and the opportunity to learn more about the life-changing experiences House in the Wood provides for youth.

Last week, we were thrilled to welcome EL Da’ Sheon Nix, Director of Evanston Community Relations & Neighborhood and Community Relations at Northwestern University, to visit our Early Childhood Education Project LEAP Cafecito and classrooms! Our ECE students were especially excited to share their learning, creativity, and joy throughout the visit.

We are deeply grateful to the ANCHOR Grants program for supporting Project LEAP, which expands family engagement and early learning opportunities for children and caregivers through bilingual programming, connection, and community-building. 👏🏼💙

Mental health support looks different for everyone and at Family CARES, our team is committed to meeting individuals and families where they are. 💚

This Mental Health Awareness Month, we’re spotlighting the dedicated staff members who provide compassionate care, guidance, and support to children, youth, adults, and families throughout our community. From school-based therapy to family support services, Family CARES works every day to create safe spaces for healing, growth, and connection.

Northwestern Settlement’s Chicago Board is leading a summer Supply Drive.

Summer can be especially challenging for families, when resources are less accessible. Every week, Northwestern Settlement provides groceries and essential household items to neighbors across Chicago and your support helps make that possible.

With only a few weeks left in the drive, we need your help for the final push!
